Upcoming Events

It has been about a month since the Memorial Celebration Event in Long Beach. Below is an update on all the events happening to help honor Dave's memory. More events are being planned, but here are some to keep in mind:

EVENTS
Memorial Golf Tournament in Palm Springs: There will be a Memorial Golf Tournament in Palm Springs on September 18th with a BBQ to follow. For more information, visit the Evite at: http://new.evite.com/services/links/6GN2UUNURS.

Wodynski Memorial Lacrosse Game: The game will pit the current and former Newport Beach Lacrosse Club players vs. a montage of Dave’s other teammates from various teams over his lifetime (Vegas, masters, USD, DC, Vail, etc.).

Where: Beach Field on the Newport Peninsula
When: Sunday, October 3rd at 11:00 am
Who: NBLC (white) vs. All-Comers (baby blue)

Long Beach Management Association Event: The Long Beach Management Association will be putting on an event to honor Dave and assist with Sophia’s college fund. More details will be provided shortly.

Long Beach Bowling Tournament: We are in the early planning stages of a Bowling Tournament (ala “Big Lebowski”) in Long Beach. More details will be provided shortly.

Wodynski Challenge: More items are being added to the challenge, so check the website to stay up to date!

COLLEGE FUND DONATIONS

DAVE MEMORIES FOR SOPHIA
Please be sure to visit the website and use the "Guestbook" and "Dave-ism" features to record memories of Dave for Sophia. The family would really appreciate having those memories recorded so that Sophia can have those memories when she is older.

LACROSSE T-SHIRTS
For the Lacrosse memorial game, Zach and his group have designed great T-shirts to be used as jerseys for the game. If anyone is interested in ordering the jersey as a keepsake, see the attached form and send in funds by September 10. All profits will go to Sophia’s college fund.

WRISTBANDS
Pop Wodynski has generously created an wristband to help remind us of Dave’s impact on all our lives. Please see Tom Modica in Long Beach if you would like a wristband. For those of you outside of Long Beach that would want one, please email Tom Modica at tom.modica@longbeach.gov and we’ll find a way to distribute them.
